Coming for the first time?

Here is some information to make your visit more comfortable.

How do I get there?

Our church is located at 255 Woolwich Street.  We are right behind Hakim Opitical.

Where do I park?

Parking is available in our parking lot at the side of and behind the church.

How do I get there by bus?

It is always best to check with Guelph Transit since routes change (Guelph Transit link).  Right now the numbers 2A and 2B go right past our door from either direction on Woolwich Street.

What if I come by bicycle?

The bicycle lanes on Gordon and Woolwich go right past our door.

Where do I go when I get there?  Is the building accessible?

Our main entrance on Woolwich Street is accessible.  Just inside the front doors we have stairs on either side of the foyer and an elevator than can take you to the sanctuary where our morning service is held.  We have accessible bathroom facilities located on the main floor.

What happens during the service?

Our morning service begins at 10:00am with singing and prayers.  You don't have to worry about knowing the songs.  The words are projected onto a screen so that you can follow along.

You are welcome to worship together as a family.  We do however have a nursery for infants and children up to age 3 that is staffed with caring volunteers who provide a safe and fun environment for your children with age-appropriate toys, music and snacks.

After the singing the older children leave with their teachers so that they can be taught an age appropriate Bible lesson.  Most Sundays there are classes for children ages 4 and up as well youth up to grade 12.  You are welcome to leave with them and see where they are being taught and then come back after they are settled.

After the singing, there is a short message from one of our pastors.  The purpose of these messages is to explore how to apply the Bible to our everyday lives.

Part way through the service we take up an offering.  This is a way for regular attendees and members to give to support our work here.  You don't have to feel obligated to give.  If you choose to give, you will find envelopes in the pews that you can fill out and then receive a donation receipt at the end of the year.

After the service we stay around for a bit and have coffee and chat.  You are welcome to join us in the gym for this.  This is where your children will be returned to you after the service.

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably.  There are people who dress in their Sunday best and there are people who dress very casually.  We are not concerned about what you are wearing.  We are glad that you would come and check out our church.

If we haven't answered your questions here please feel free to call our office at 519-824-8230 ext. 1.  We want you to have a good experience here!
